We produce superlative textiles using linen, one of the oldest raw materials in the world.
“A new fabric is simply a modification of already existing qualities that the designer calls up from his mental archive of unexpected or unremembered drapes and touches.”
As the undisputed star of Solbiati collections, this fabric is hard-wearing, breathable and pleasurable.
Our fabrics are made exclusively in Italy, resulting from a skilful combination of tradition and innovation. Starting from a meticulous study of artisan techniques of the past, we have reinterpreted fine linen fibre. Our repertoire ranges from yarn-dyed to striped, madras, overchecked, melange and jacquard fabrics—an infinite line-up of solutions stemming from a vast cultural background.
We transform linen into precious fabrics by selecting the most valuable European flax, unanimously regarded as the finest in the world.
